Inside Sales Manager


We're looking for a talented, driven and passionate sales leader to help us build & develop our inside sales team. As Sales Manager, you will play a critical role by recruiting, inspiring, training and leading the team. The successful candidate will have a consistent record of building and developing sales teams, and has the correct mix of business savvy, coaching ability and sales acumen. They will also have the opportunity to evolve and prime the existing business model to meet (and exceed) business goals and expectations. This is an office-based role with 95% of your time spent in the office and 5% visiting trade shows once they commence again.


  • Lead and manage a sales team to meet monthly goals, KPIs forecasted opportunities & revenue targets
  • Assess sales pipelines, activity & forecasts to determine sales progress & areas for refinement/improvement of large deals
  • Manage and grow a high performing team by recruiting and developing account executives through coaching, whilst retaining & growing top performers
  • Performance management: creating a bench of qualified talent and growing the team headcount as needed
  • Lead by example, making sales calls yourself and winning customers to the SalesOptimize Service
  • Weekly presentation of sales revenue and KPIs to the CEO
  • Disciplined use of CRM system, communication and customer management
  • Handling of customer complaints and enquiries


About You

  • Experience in managing a sales team, 3+ years is preferable
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Previously led a consultative sales process with the ability to segment and manage territories effectively & work with partners to win business
  • Self-motivated, detailed-oriented and a big appetite for high achievement in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, with great planning and organisation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to increase efficiencies in the sales process and measure performance
  • Personal responsibility to hit monthly team goals & with a positive attitude
  • Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other software applications
  • Fluency in English is a must
