Senior Commercial Manager – Dublin

Our Client a leading provider of Building Supplies & DIY Materials - is seeking to recruit a Senior Commercial Manager - designed to grow the level of business in the Dublin region.

* You will contribute and execute a strategic business plan to grow the Dublin area, Develop New Business with existing customers and potential new customers, focusing on targeting the cross-selling of the company’s entire range of products, Focus on mainstream building materials, working closely with Product Managers to grow sales
* The management and development of existing branch personnel including the existing branch team and establishing and managing an effective Field Sales team focused on the generation of new business.
* Develop a good understanding of the companies operating procedures ensuring the branch and future branches in the Dublin region are operating to the highest standard operationally.
* Develop strong working relationships with building product suppliers to maximise sales opportunities.

Experience and Attributes Required A min.of 5 years of Senior Commercial experience covering Sales and Operations within the Builders Merchanting /Providers Sector. A proven track record of managing and developing Sales Teams. Result’s driven person with a proven track record of meeting sales and margin targets, as well as delivering operational improvements. Good leadership and people management skills and an ability to maintain a positive team spirit.
