Field Sales Manager FMCG
Crossell Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a temporary Field Sales Manager managing a team of Van Sales Representative. This position is for an immediate start for a period of circa 8 weeks.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing field sales people within the FMCG grocery and symbol stores.
Major responsibilities/activities
- Managing and supporting a team of field sales representatives
- Achieving specified call coverage
- Developing and maintaining satisfactory performance standards in the team
- Making field audits against reported performance by the team.
- Reporting in respect of team performance, competitor activity, trade trends, etc.
- Liaising with specified customer personnel on day to day on operational matters
Requirements:
- 2-3 years sales management and field team management experience within the FMCG industry preferably
- Strong management skills, a proven motivator
- Previous customer facing experience
- Sales focused with ability to drive sales with experience in coaching and mentoring a field sales team
- Effective time manager with ability to prioritize/multi-task
- Results driven with exceptional organisational skills
