Field Sales Manager FMCG

Crossell Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a temporary Field Sales Manager managing a team of Van Sales Representative. This position is for an immediate start for a period of circa 8 weeks.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing field sales people within the FMCG grocery and symbol stores.

Major responsibilities/activities

• Managing and supporting a team of field sales representatives
• Achieving specified call coverage
• Developing and maintaining satisfactory performance standards in the team
• Making field audits against reported performance by the team.
• Reporting in respect of team performance, competitor activity, trade trends, etc.
• Liaising with specified customer personnel on day to day on operational matters

Requirements:

• 2-3 years sales management and field team management experience within the FMCG industry preferably
• Strong management skills, a proven motivator
• Previous customer facing experience
• Sales focused with ability to drive sales with experience in coaching and mentoring a field sales team
• Effective time manager with ability to prioritize/multi-task
• Results driven with exceptional organisational skills
