The ideal candidate will have a hunter’s mentality; high energy and the ability to develop a new or existing sales territory. They will be comfortable prospecting, presenting and closing opportunities in a highly competitive and creative environment. The successful candidate will be able to prospect using multiple channels including networking, internet and cold calling. An ability to source potential clients, make presentations to high level decision makers and close business contracts is required. You will be dealing with professional personnel, many of them business owners and managers. You must ensure that you have an excellent product knowledge and understanding of the packaging business. Preparation, follow up and attention to detail are crucial.

To contribute to a successful team that is dedicated to servicing the Client account and, in particular, to maximising the volume of revenue generated from all clients
Plan the strategic development of core client base and prospecting for new clients
Articulate client’s vision by offering creative packaging solutions to suit their brand and budget
Working with sales colleagues and the management team to establish budget, strategies and tactical sales by product, customer and market
Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and remain up-to-date on new product development and related industry issues
To achieve pre-agreed performance targets, both quantitative and qualitative, for you as an individual and, where applicable for specific Client Accounts.
Provide Management with reports on sales activities and projects.
Building excellent relationships with clients
A minimum of 3-5 years sales experience in the Packaging Industry is essential.
Ideally we would require a qualification in business or sales.
In addition, candidates should have a proven track record of developing new accounts whilst maintaining and developing existing relationships.
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, E-mail and CRM systems.
We are seeking candidates that are self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in Sales.
They will be able to work on their own initiative while also having creative flair with an instinct for product and design.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a well established team, but predominantly as an individual representing the Company. Thus the candidate will need to be confident in their own professional capabilities.
