Our client is recruiting a Regional Sales Manager to manage the Leinster retail sales team and deliver the sales and profit targets to grow the business. The Successful Candidate:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in the FMCG sector
  • You have a relevant third level qualification
  • You have strong people management and people development skills and proven team management experience
  • You are an experienced strategic business planner with commercial acumen
  • You have a full, clean driving licence

As a Regional Sales Manager, some of your duties & responsibilities will include:

  •  Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Driving the business by ensuring effective prospecting, new business development and development of existing accounts
  • Compiling industry knowledge, competitor and market information and proactively taking appropriate action as necessary
  • Ensuring that external relationships with customers and suppliers are managed in line with customer service best practice
  • Proactively ensuring that internal relationships are effectively managed
  • Reporting on sales figures, development plans, account activity, team members performance level and competitor information
  • Managing, motivating and recruiting the Independent Retail sales team to ensure that they have the skill sets, resources and support needed to deliver in their role and achieve objectives
  • Setting team objectives & targets and providing feedback on performance
