Sales Executive - Exhibition and Events

Crossell Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a hugely successful  Exhibition and Events organisation, for an experienced sales executive.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to be part of a vibrant industry and be part of a dynamic team.  With over 40 years’ experience in producing successful exhibitions and trade shows the company has a very strong reputation in the industry.

The ideal candidate will be outgoing, with a bubbly character and passionate and must have previous sales experience within events, advertising or exhibitions sales.  This is predominantly an office based role based in South Dublin, but will also involve some field work including attending trade shows and presenting as part of the team.

Key skills required:

•         Previous sales experience within events, exhibitions or media/advertising sales.

•         Fluency in English.

•         Excellent record of business development and meeting sales targets.

•         Experience of working with and developing high value sponsorship partners.

•         Strong negotiation skills.

•         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers.

•         Experience selling within the exhibition, sponsorship or advertising space is essential.

•         Experienced using MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

•         Delivering and exceeding sales targets.

•         Conducting quality research of potential exhibitors and sponsors, relevant to profile of specific events/shows.

•         Managing and maintaining relationships with both your prospects and existing exhibition partners.

•         Enlist the support of relevant trade associations and/or professional bodies where appropriate for each event.

•         Ensuring that all elements of sponsorship arrangements are delivered.

•         Undertaking calls to prospective exhibitors to help secure key accounts and strategically important companies early in the sales campaign and to gauge the reaction to the event from each section.

•         Sourcing and soliciting prospective exhibitors and sponsors for various events and key features within the events.

•         Identify Irish and overseas exhibitions to attend.

 

Excellent package offered, salary dependant on experience with unlimited commission
