Our client is a precision engineering company seeking a Business Development Manager to target North American pharmaceutical business.
This client is experiencing tremendous growth and is recognised as a world leader in it's niche area. Annual turnover is circa €33m per annum & growing. The company HQ is in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive travel throughout North America, Canada & Puerto Rico.
- Meet with and present to C Level Executives.
- Prepare formal bids presentations back at Dublin office.
- Identifying new business opportunities - lead generation, networking etc
- Qualifying customers effectively - understanding their business commercially and financially
- Selling the benefits, culture and commercial advantages of the product
- Negotiating and agreeing on trading terms
- Building lasting client relationships - demonstrating great integrity, dependability and commercial awareness
- Meet and exceed targets and key performance measures
- Lead and direct campaigns as required
- Conduct regular performance reviews with clients
- Manage an effective and proactive sales plan
Skill-Sets:
- Background in international complex sales
- Expertise in manufacturing, engineering or pharmaceutical sales
- Formal education in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Remuneration:
Salary is approximately €65k - €70k DOE + an expected €50k in commission earnings.
