Our client, a dynamic and innovative software company are looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager based in Dublin on a permanent basis.

The role is offered as hybrid.

Your new role:
As an experienced Business Developer you will be focusing on generating New Business and will leverage your extensive experience and network of connections to build and nurture relationships with high-level decision-makers such as CTOs, MDs, development managers, program managers and other relevant stakeholders. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and have a deep understanding of outsourcing deals in the software development sector across Ireland.

Responsibilities:
To create, agree and implement the sales strategy, approach and objectives for the target market.
Connect within this industry with key executives like CEO, CFOs, IT Directors, Business Heads, and market/position the organisation.
Lead end-to-end sales cycle.
To identify key opportunities and develop compelling propositions and business cases.
To develop and maintain the most senior-level relationships (CXO, MD) within the target market/accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
Build a pipeline for regional sales.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company's services.
Research and analyse market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:
A minimum of five years' experience in Business Development for custom software development services.
Existing network of clients in Ireland that you have been working with.
Marketing background a plus - Google & LinkedIn, outbound campagins, etc.
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Domain knowledge of Trading / Financials regulatory would be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Negotiation skills

Effective business acumen
Understanding/experience of Enterprise IT
Stakeholder management
Ability to travel as required.
