Founded in 2000, ECT Adhesives solutions are Ireland's premier supplier of adhesives and dispensing equipment to the Irish industry, including medical device assembly, electronics, woodworking, sign manufacturing, packaging, construction, and many more.
ECT Adhesives does not just sell a product, we take an application from the beginning to the end providing expert advice and support throughout. Our knowledge-based technical sales staff have years of adhesive experience, and we have a specialist adhesive chemist who works closely with all applications.
Due to our rapid growth and expansion, ECT Adhesives are seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic internal sales professional with also some external sales responsibilities. This will involve developing sales with new accounts in addition to managing and further developing opportunities with an existing loyal customer base.
A very important function of this role will be to support our existing full time external Area Field Sales Managers.
Responsibilities
• Managing some our smaller accounts, ensuring that they are satisfied with our service.
• Supporting the external Area Field Sales Managers and assist with quotations etc. and assist as their primary contact for sales related queries.
• Research the marketplace to determine new customers for our products and market segments.
• Once trained (on the road with the sales team), taking on a small territory (Dublin / Wicklow) on your own.
• Promote the company’s products and services and provide strong technical advice to ensure the best solution.
• Work to company objectives and prepare reports on activities, achievements and sales for Management.
• Assist with the management of our internal CRM System.
The ideal Candidate
• Degree / Diploma level technical education or equivalent and a min 1 year sales experience within B2B
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
• Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
• Highly motivated and target driven, possibly with an already proven track record in sales.
• Presentation Skills
• Full clean driving licence
• IT Skills – specifically MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Own transport
Renumeration
• Base Salary to be negotiated but range circa €35,000 – €45,000
• Performance based bonus structure after initial six months
• Role will eventually lead to a company car.
