Business Development: Civils & Drainage
This role is the development of a clearly identified growth for the Civils & Drainage Product Range. The objective of this role will be to grow civil division sales by supporting the branches and sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Site visits with Branch Sales Representatives to win orders, up-skill colleagues on their knowledge of Civils & Draining
* Plan and implement a Business Development strategy to increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones in their region
* Responsible for meeting budget and sales target by developing and presenting quotes and proposals
* Support colleagues in civil quotes by directing them to the appropriate suppliers and giving guidance on price range
* Tacking large jobs on building information and other lead generation tools through our CRM system
* Build strong relationships with our colleagues, customers, and suppliers
Knowledge & Experience
• 5 years’ experience in the construction sector
• A Civil Engineering qualification or similar would be an advantage but is not essential
• Sound Engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills essential
• Strong communication skills and previous experience with CRM desirable
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
• Competent presenting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
• Dynamic, motivated & driven to achieve targets
