Based out of a Dublin office, we are looking for a National Account Manager to join one of the most well-known brands nationally.
Our client has identified a considerable opportunity in the top four / five Grocer accounts (Tesco / Dunnes / SuperValu / Eurospar). As a starting point therefore, you should be experienced in managing at least one of these accounts. This is a new business role, so we are very much looking for a hunter as opposed to a farmer. For this reason, however, it is also essential that you have experience of having opened at least one of these accounts from scratch and can provide evidence of how you courted the account and the processes you undertook to engage the buyers.

You will be a National Account Manager with experience in the retail market, this is more about commercial ability and transferable skills rather than previous channels worked on. So you will have the strong commercial ability and be able to demonstrate this, you will know your numbers and be comfortable when asked around these.

Ø We’re looking to speak to switched on, intelligent individuals who can demonstrate success in managing Grocery, wholesale and retail partners to date
Ø Strong sales experience within an FMCG environment driving two-way communication.
Ø You have strong relationship building skills with the ability to generate long-term business partnerships in an ever-changing product landscape knowing and understanding customer value drivers.
