INTERNAL SALES / TRAINEE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

O'Neill Industrial are a leading supplier of compressed air and pneumatic equipment and parts to Irish industry, employing 30 people across four divisions, with offices in Limerick and Cork.

Since the company was founded in 1970 O’Neill Industrial has been a distributor for Ingersoll Rand compressor products. Over the years we have established solid partnerships with several more leading global manufacturers of compressed air and pneumatic technologies.

The Role

This is a newly created position, is designed to bring the successful candidate through a career path from COUNTER SALES / SALES SUPPORT and over the course of 12 / 24 months you will receive the training required to become a FIELD SALES REPRESENTITIVE.

Selling our wide range of quality brands and products to Manufacturing and Industrial companies across Munster. initially you will be required;

• To handle enquiries from new and existing customers, at the trade counter and by telephone.
• To provide support and assistance to the field sales team.
• To generate leads through telephone canvassing.
• To record and report all sales activities.

Skills & Experienced / Interests Required:

• An interest in an Engineering / Technical Sales Career, learning from the bottom and working your way up.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Self-Motivated - you will be a positive self-starter, capable of working on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office
• Excellent English
• Must have a full and valid driving licence.
