We’re hiring a Sales Executive

With ambitious expansion plans in place for the future this is an exciting time to join MediaHQ. The company is already the market leader in Ireland and we are now looking for a Sales Executive to join our diverse team as we look to grow internationally.
What will you do?
Due to business growth and expansion we are actively seeking tenacious and resilient sales professionals to join our already successful sales department. Working through a supplied source of leads, generating your own leads and prospecting for new business, this is a strategic sales desk-based role. You will focus on driving growth by developing new business relationships with companies we target securing new sales and retaining and growing this business on a yearly basis.
• Work with management to create, maintain and develop target account lists for new business campaigns.
• Monitor published tenders and submit proposals.
• Ensure you generate direct leads and progress to sale to compliment the leads generated from marketing activity.
• Track and report on the progress of prospects in the sales pipeline to closed sales.
• Maintain high quality information on all aspects of client records in our CRM system (currently Salesforce).
• Generate reports from the CRM system to support the needs of the business.
• Achieve all KPIs based on sales targets, upselling and client yield.
• Manage credit control for sales invoices.
• Generate leads through cold calling.
• Deliver demos to potential clients and follow up through to sale.
• Act as an ambassador for MediaHQ at conferences and events.
Who are you?
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ideally you will have 2+ years’ experience in a customer-orientated, fast-paced, target driven SaaS business.
• You should have confidence in your ability to run a high-volume pipeline in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Have a good working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce is desirable) and marketing automation systems. Good social networking knowledge with applications such as LinkedIn and other apps.
• Excellent oral, written and persuasive communication skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport with potential new clients as well as strong relationships internally.
• Working knowledge of the media industry would also be desirable.
• A team player, self-starter and quick learner with attention to detail capable of working on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
