Job Description:

* Maximise sales and profitability through managing new enquiries and prospecting as well as increasing shares of existing customer base.

Job Purpose:

* This is for a senior level sales/business development position who is responsible for the growing the base of the business in new regions and maintaining a good relationship with existing customers.

Key Accountabilities:

* Prospecting, identifying, develop and secure new business.
* Maximise sales and profitability by developing new and existing accounts
* Develop the national market and product campaigns.
* Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the companies products and services
* Maintain existing business by working closely with sales support personnel to ensure timely execution of purchase orders and deliveries.
* Establish effective working relationships and become a sustaining resource for the customer.
* Develop your existing customer base by regularly visiting their sites
* Look for potential customers in order to increase sales for new and existing product offerings
* Respond to enquiries in a swift and clear manner, creating and sending quotes with price offers as well as following up on quotations
* Establish effective product knowledge to match customer packaging needs and identify opportunities and possibilities in offering the complete package.
* Utilise and maintain a thorough knowledge of sales resources and service divisions.
* Promote and sell new products through trade shoes and events as well as keeping track of relevant industry events and ongoing product developments.
* Fulfil company targets and work towards meeting targets with individual goals and objectives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Sales and prospecting skills with quantifiable support
* Consultative sales experience, B2B sales involving complex and relationship based transactions
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, verbal and perceptual skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Highly motivated with a desire to be competitive and is driven by the customers focus
* Ability to travel - must have a full drivers license
