THE COMPANY: An Irish distributor, founded as a business over 60 years ago, our client is a supplier of branded industrial and hydraulic products and consumables. The company has already experienced strong growth in 2017 and the early part of 2018 and is presently seeking to expand their sales team in the West of Ireland.
THE ROLE: The successful Area Sales Manager will be selling a range of industrial and hydraulic products and consumables, into the industrial and process end user market place mainly. You will sell to companies in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing sector, as well as the oil and agricultural sectors. You will be dealing with engineers, procurement, MRO and this role will focus more so on account management due to the well established account base this company boasts.
FOR THIS AREA SALES MANAGER POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Ideally you will have a technical background, whether that is you hold an engineering qualification or perhaps have practiced as a fitter / turner. You will also have some sales experience, dealing with the industrial and / or process end user sector. You may have sold products including transmission, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, fixings.

* Basic salary: €40,000 - €45,000
* Commission: + €10,000
