Job Description:

My client, a leading home improvement/building supplies trade retailer in County Limerick is looking for an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily running of operations of the store. This successful Store Manager will need to have previous management experience in a retail environment and excellent customer service skills.

You will need:

* Experienced in Retail Management related to Building Trade and Supplies Industry
* A strong leader with an ability to train, develop and motivate staff members
* An enthusiastic individual with a drive to succeed and a passion for retail
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* IT knowledge – knowledge of stock-take systems and previously ran stock reports
* Ability to drive sales and standards in store
* Product knowledge
* Management experience

Duties of the role:

* Overall day to day running of a busy building trade retail store
* Maximising sales and minimising costs
* Managing a team of staff members, delegating tasks and overseeing their training and development
* General merchandising and promotional activities in store
* Stock control experience
* Controlling waste, shrink and cash management procedures
* Ad hoc operations and back office duties
* Maintaining high standards and ensuring excellent customer service is delivered
