Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Cork.
Contract: 9-month contract
Our successful client based outside Cork City is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for a 9-month contract.
Duties:
* Monitor Cash flow and Budgets and update as appropriate
* Raise sales invoices and quotations – corresponding with other departments to identify when to invoice new POs and ensure renewals are paid on time
* Manage Credit Control
* Petty Cash management
* Monthly management accounts
* Monthly supplier invoice payments
* Post all AP and AR transactions to SAGE 50
* Bi Monthly VAT returns
* Other financial reports and adhoc duties as requested from Management
* Process monthly travel expenses
Other duties include supporting the HR function with compensation & benefits.
Requirements:
* Enthusiastic person with at least 3 year's accounts work experience.
* Accounting Technician or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
* Strong I.T. skills and experience using SAGE system
* Strong communication skills
* Good organisation skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work on own and as part of a team
