Sales and Events Manager

Based in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakelands, our client is one of the country’s leading hotels. Steeped in history, this family-owned getaway offers a unique blend of old world charm and modern luxury, making for the perfect country retreat. They are now looking for a Sales and Events Manager to join their team.

As the Sales and Events Manager, you will promote our client’s hotel as the venue of choice for customers.  

Working alongside another Sales and Events Manager, you will: 

- Manage events, from initial contact through to handover to the Operations Team 
- Promote the hotel’s conference and banqueting centres via social media channels and at trade events, such as bridal fairs 
- Handle enquiries and provide tours of the venues  
- Help to design and develop sales strategies to promote the hotel 

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need: 

- At least three years’ experience in a sales and marketing role, ideally within hospitality 
- A strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including current market trends and challenges
- A high level of IT literacy, including proficiency in databases, CRM software and Microsoft packages 
- A qualification in marketing-related discipline, ideally including membership of the CIM 

Creative, driven and full of ideas, as the Sales and Events Manager, you’ll have excellent presentation and communication skills. You’ll also be able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team.
