Membership Development Agent
The Irish Farmers’ Association is the largest representative organisation for over 70,000 farm families in Ireland and is the recognised voice of Irish farmers in Europe and internationally.
IFA provides focused leadership to deliver improved income and living standards for all farm families. The Association promotes the ongoing development and competitiveness of Irish agriculture and the food industry, which makes an important contribution to Ireland’s economy.

Principal Responsibilities
You will be responsible for promoting the benefits of membership as well as acquiring new members for the organisation in the south west and east of the country (including parts thereof Tipperary (North & South), Clare, South Kilkenny, South Wexford and Waterford).

The main duties of the Membership Development Agent will be:

·         Calling to secure membership
·         Generating new business leads through own initiative
·         Identifying potential new members
·         Promoting the benefits of IFA Member Services
 

Successful candidates will have:
·         Previous field sales experience.
·         Proven ability to generate business through leads.
·         Good understanding of farming/rural issues.
·         Full Clean Driving Licence
