* As Operations Manager, ensure first class customer service is always delivered, and motivate team members to ensure timely resolution and services to drive performance improvements
* Regular audits of areas, procedures, working practices, and supporting the team uncovering, root causing and solving operational performance trends
* Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports
* Coach and mentor your team to fulfil their potential and deliver superior performance • Leading weekly operational meetings with co-workers
* Liaise with management to assist in realisation of various targets
* Overseeing and strict management of the performance of the multi-site company
* Strict review and control of operations including budgeted turnover levels and overhead control
* Regular reporting to Board of Directors including recommendations for action items at site level
* Contribute to the development of tools and processes that make our team more efficient and effective • Work cross-functionally and partner with groups company-wide, including Business Development and Finance
Skills & Experience required for the Operations Manager
* Degree in Management or relevant Business field
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a managerial role
* Exceptional people management and customer support skills with demonstrated experience of managing people in a fast paced, changing environment
* Proven track record in problem solving and working under pressure
* Proficiency in use of MS Office programs, ideally including SQL, Supply chain or inventory management applications.
* The ability to multitask and ensure targets are met and projects are carried out to high standard
* Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
* Resilient, flexible and pro-active attitude with strong commercial awareness
* Ability to introduce new ideas / initiatives
* Understanding of health, safety and quality practices advantageous
