Established in 1832, the McMahon Group is Ireland’s largest independent Builders Providers with a multi-site trading business.  As part of the Groups continuing development, we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager, based in our Limerick Head Office.

Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director or his designate, the successful candidate will drive the success of effective marketing, advertising, and promotional activities of the company. An ideal candidate is an excellent team leader, is very strategic, knows the market and consumers well, and has experience in driving growth.

Role and Key Responsibilities

·         Develop marketing strategies aligned with the brand strategy

·         Responsible for successful campaign management, media planning, budget management and delivering profitable business growth

·         Maintain customer relationships for future purchases

·         Working closely with other functional areas in the company to ensure a coordinated approach to marketing campaigns

·         Market research and benchmarking of target markets, analysis of company products in relation to competitors

·         Managing and maximising the use of the company’s website to drive online sales, ensuring it is a leading marketing asset for the company

·         Managing the production of marketing collateral including advertisements, brochures, catalogues and other marketing material

The Person

·         You will be a passionate and driven marketing manager, with up to date knowledge of cutting edge marketing techniques

·         An excellent knowledge of consumer marketing, preferably in the Trade/DIY sector

·         Degree educated, ideally with a minimum of 2.1 in a relevant degree

·         A minimum of 6 years marketing experience

·         Multi-site business marketing experience but with a strong commercial awareness

·         Excellent communication and writing skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft suite

·         Digital marketing experience, including an excellent understanding of email marketing, paid search, website content management and social media
