Our client based in the Kilkenny / Carlow area currently has a job available for an experienced Sales Executive to join their busy sales department. Working as part of a close team, you will be responsible for business to business sales, identifying sales opportunities and dealing with inbound sales orders from customers. This is an office based position and you will be promoting products to relevant trade customers. You will also have the ability to generate new business through outbound sales calls, ensuring that all opportunities are swiftly followed up.

Main duties:

* Generating new sales through extensive Business Development
* Maintaining & developing our current customer base alongside our current sales team
* Ensure all products are promoted & offered to potential customers through all our available sales channels
* Responsible for preparing & delivering weekly offers to existing & new potential customers
* Achieve set Monthly sales targets
* Ensure excellent customer service delivery in all aspects of communication with our customers

The person:

* A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Outbound telephone sales experience
* Excellent customer service skills
* A key knowledge of upselling
* Excellent attention to detail
* A team player with a can do attitude
* Excellent MS office skills
