A leading farm organisation that has been serving the Irish agricultural trade for over 50 years is currently recruiting for Developement Officer in the Roscommon area.

Job overview

To develop the farm organisation further at ground level by calling mainly to Dairy & Beef Farmers & promoting membership benefits.

Duties

• Promote the farm organisation membership to livestock farmers.
• Deal with queries & questions from existing organisation members.
• Organise and support meetings , talks and seminars through county executives at local level.

Candidate profile

• A strong understanding of farming & farming practices.
• A dairy background is a distinct advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Previous sales experience an advantage.

Remuneration:
• Basic salary of 25-35k DOE
• Own transport required but travelling expenses will be provided
