Job Discription:
A leading Hire company in the Meath area is currently looking to recruit a Counter Sales Assistant.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Service customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them into the system accurately.
* Accurately use order entry, computerized systems and other technologies as required.
* Handle customers regarding machine breakdowns and returns, while showing a positive attitude.
* Keep merchandising and counter areas clean and attractive.
* Working alongside the mechanics in the workshop with ordering parts and contacting customers regarding their machines.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills with customers is essential.
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in plant and equipment hire or similar role.
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise hire equipment.
* Computer literacy is essential (knowledge of Microsoft office suite).
* Understanding of small engine machines such as lawnmowers, chainsaws etc.
* Ability to delegate and communicate with delivery personal.
* Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
* Must be able to work as part of a team and adhere to company policies and procedures.
