Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of sensors, transmitters and analysers for environmental monitoring, is now seeking to hire a skilled Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent basis in Cork.

About the role:
You will be someone with drive, the desire to learn, outgoing personality and the ability to work on various projects at once. Organisational skills in managing own responsibilities and time to achieve objectives and deadlines are a must.

What you will do:
Use Microsoft Dynamics maintain and grow the customer base in your assigned area.
Provide technical information about the organisation's suite of products.
Generate customer quotations and documentation.
Have a proactive approach to customers’ needs.
Discover new customers processes and solution sell from our suite of products and services.
Initially oversee seamless operations & installations of projects converted.
Continue to learn and enhance selling skills, technical knowledge.
Meet or exceed KPIs.

What you need:
Scientific or Engineering degree would be a distinct advantage.
Proven sales record in a similar technical role.
Self-motivated and a team player with a customer focused mindset.
A willingness to learn, adapt and solve problems as they happen.
Ability to work independently and to make sound decisions.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to write and edit technical papers.
Ability to methodically approach the process of product support, including problem diagnosis.
Empathy and tolerance towards different interpersonal styles.
MS Office packages including Excel, Word, Power Point and Dynamics.
