Trade Counter Sales Rep
* Greet and assist customers visiting the trade counter, offering expert product knowledge
* Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in product selection, pricing, and quantities.
* Provide timely and accurate quotations, utilising the company's pricing system.
* Maintain an organised and well-stocked trade counter,
* Upsell and cross-sell products, promoting promotions and special offers to maximise sales opportunities.
* Handle cash and card transactions, balancing the cash register at the end of each shift.
* Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar trade counter or retail sales role within the building or construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience with point-of-sale systems.
