A Business Development Manager To work within a well established company in NI who are growing due to market needs within Private Medical Insurance. Contract: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Responsible to: CEO Job Summary: My client are growing and are seeking a qualified Business Development Manager ( ideally form insurance or service industry background) with a track record of achieving results in a competitive B2B setting to market private medical insurance products, occupational health and medical services to businesses based mainly in N Ireland, but also those in ROI and the UK. The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to establish and retain business growth opportunities and cross sell between business units, primarily by obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue. Key responsibilities: Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets Develop strategies and positions by analysing new-venture integration Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics Key Account management including reporting/presenting KPI and SLA information to clients end to end account management Identify areas for product/service development and assist with development and delivery of these. Negotiating with suppliers Person Specification: Essential Qualifications 5 GCSE grades A-C including Maths and English or Equivalent. Business Degree Experience 3 years experience working within a sales and business development management role Experience in Healthcare/Financial and/or Insurance sectors Special Knowledge and Skills Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in sales techniques Proficiency in the use of CRM software Personal Attributes Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting and budgeting Proven ability to plan and manage resources A high level of confidentiality Ability to deliver presentations effectively Ability to work accurately with attention to detail Motivated and enthusiastic Experience in managing a team ( essential) Access to a car and clean driving licence
