They are seeking to hire a Senior Business Development to join their ever-growing freight organisation based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.
- To raise the awareness and profile of the business in the marketplace by promoting them as the leader in International Logistics services.
- To identify potential customers by cold calling, networking, referrals etc., and actively pursue same to result in successful acquisitions.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets by developing an adequate pipeline in line with sales conversion ratios.
- Account management and maintaining customer relationships whilst seeking to increase their turnover and satisfaction.
- Maintain and update CRM systems in terms of scheduled visits, time planning and visit reports.
- Capture additional customer information to allow for marketing and targeting of specific relevant customers.
- Preparation and presentation of commercial tenders and quotations.
- Preparation and presentation of personal and company progress reports during weekly and monthly meetings.
Requirements:
- Min 2-3 years of recent Freight Sales or Account Management experience within the Freight Forwarding industry in Ireland.
- Strong communicator with proven ability to negotiate and influence
- Excellent understanding of worldwide freight and Logistics
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline orientated, international environment
- Ability to create/write customer requirements clearly for use by the Operations Team.
- Knowledge of operating systems as well as excellent PC skills including word processing, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of the Irish import & export market
