The ideal candidate will be a commercially focused, exceptional sales professional with the ability to lead and develop a team. This person will be coming from a B2B background, comfortable with digital sales and marketing, with the ability to steer local sales & marketing strategy, and will act as a true ambassador for the business at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Local Sales strategy – built on regional strategy
- Local Marketing strategy – how to attract and retain the right customers in the market
- Identify customer segments and maintain a competitor overview
- Lead and develop the team in their respective functions
- Recruit and manage staff in coordination with central HR
- Identify training needs and mentoring and training of local staff
- Manage all costs to within agreed limits
- Overall budget responsible for local market in coordination with regional manager. This involves taking responsibility for gross margin, revenue, cash flow, pricing, transport, quality targets, costs and customer service levels
- Communication and reporting on local market
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree within a relevant area – economics, business, etc
- Experience in a B2B environment – specific industry experience is desirable but not required
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing, comfortable with digital marketing and sales methodologies
- Strong CRM experience is desirable
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen
- Phenomenal communicator with excellent communication skills
- People management and leadership experience
