Job Description The ASM will be responsible for generating new business with key Retailers, wholesalers and distribution networks. In additional to their main New Business focus they will also manage and grow the existing regional customer accounts. THIS ROLE COVERS THE WHOLE OF NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN IRELAND THERE WILL BE THEREFORE A GREAT DEAL OF TRAVELLING AND OVERNIGH STAYS FULLY EXPENSED CAR PLUS GENEROUS BONUS SCHEME KNOWLEDGE OF THE HOME AND DECORATIVE LIGHTINGS INDUSTRY WOULD BE A MASSIVE BONUS Responsibilities External 1) The Acquisition and retention of new customer accounts with 60 % new business & 40% existing Account Management. 2) Build and strategically foster relationships with key contacts and customers 3) Gain clear understanding of their businesses, requirements and objectives, to ensure sales metrics are met and expectations exceeded 4) Preparing presentations, proposals and negotiating sales terms. 5) Proactively identifying and resolving customer concerns 6) Delivering a programme of product sales training and support 7) Training Retailers, distributors and wholesalers to be fully acquainted with the product ranges 8) Identifying opportunities that require additional support and resource 9) Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events, demonstrations 10) Forecasting/ planning sales and negotiating customer sales targets Internal 1) Ensure sales pipeline is filled with opportunities at all stages of the sales cycle 2) Review regional performance against expectations continuously 3) Reporting on key sales metrics 4) Management of day-to-day sales 5) Represent the requirements of the customer to internal organisation 6) To communicate new product and service opportunities to colleagues
