Business Development Manager
The Fruit People are market leaders in providing offices in Ireland with fresh fruit, healthy snacks, dairy products, and pantry items. We work with local artisan producers and our catering partners to curate a unique food & beverage experience for our customers. The Irish market is experiencing massive growth in the workplace wellbeing at present, something we have been passionate about since the business started in 2013.
We are expanding our sales team and are looking for a proactive and ambitions Business Development Executive to join our dynamic sales team.
Responsibilities:
Account management of new and existing customers.
Prospecting via various channels eg LinkedIn, cold calling, email and face to face meetings.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Work closely with management to identify business trends with a view to developing new services and products.
Plan approaches and pitches to new clients.
Work with management on developing sales and marketing strategy.
Full sales cycle responsibility from prospect to close.
Data management- ensuing relevant data is captured and presented accurately.
Sales forecasting and reporting.
Representing the company at industry events.
Requirements:
Previous new business development experience.
Degree educated or equivalent is advantageous.
2-3 years B2B experience - dealing with Facility Managers/HR Managers a plus but not essential.
Prospecting skills, sales planning and identification of customer needs.
An interest in the health/food and beverage industry.
CRM skills.
Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft office.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Full clean European Driving licence (mandatory).
