Our client is an international contract testing organisation who provide specialised solutions for customers across multiple industries such as food, environmental, pharma, medical devices, forensics etc. In this position you will tasked with establishing our client s footprint in the Medical Devices sector across an Ireland & UK territory. Working from your home-office you will be responsible for identifying leads and securing laboratory services in this sector. Due to the nature of the medical device market within our client s portfolio, you will work most independently in your geographical location but will have support internationally from our clients labs in Europe. Your goal is to grow revenue; increasing business to expand our client s medical device testing services portfolio. This business is for you if you are confident in fulfilling the following responsibilities: Securing new opportunities via a variety of avenues such as conferences, growing your network, identifying new groups with existing clients etc. Responding to enquiries, rapidly promoting the different lab services available through your expert understanding of Biopharmaceutical drug development Preparing and presenting proposals Negotiating contracts costings, delivery, timeframes Coaching and mentoring commercial team members Assisting the Business Development Director in strategic growth planning The ideal candidate will be an experienced Sales professional with a strong technical and commercial background in the medical devices sector. You will be rewarded with a diverse and challenging role, offering an excellent remuneration package with commission structure (20-30%), car allowance and benefits. The recruitment process will be two stages, an initial video interview followed by an onsite visit to our client s site in Ireland.
