Sales and Marketing Executive.

The Whiskey Investment Club is part of the RTM Distribution group, a global beverage solutions and distribution company. We are based at The Boann Distillery in Drogheda, located 20 minutes from Dublin airport.

We are looking for a sales and marketing executive to play a key role in expanding our business. If you are passionate, adaptable, creative, hard-working and target driven we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:
This role is central to the next stage of our business growth. It involves engaging new and existing clients through social media and creating new corporate and wholesale clients through direct contact and good ideas which are well implemented.

You will work closely with the other areas of our business, namely our senior management team. You’ll be part of a team of creative, committed people and will be given ownership of your work and clear targets to work towards.

We encourage you to bring your own experience and creativity to the role and to explore new areas and ideas for the business. You’ll be supported to grow into and expand your role as the business grows.

• Punctual, reliable, flexible, and able to work efficiently

Responsibilities (will include, but are not limited to)

• Developing a cohesive social media and marketing strategy with the management team and delivering on plan.
• Engaging with corporate and wholesale clients and generating new sales through direct contact and online engagement.
• Maintaining relevant records and databases.
• Provide insightful monthly reports and dashboards.
• Produce engaging content.
• Managing social media channels and engaging with our customers online
• Direct engagement with new clients/generating sales.
• Managing our advertising and sales budget.
• Assisting with events on occasion (trade shows, Distillery tours/ tasting events etc.)

Required skill set:

• Resident in Ireland with permission to work.
• At least two years experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of social media and experience in content development.
• Creative with a portfolio to show a complementary aesthetic (this could be social media or other medium).
• Ability to self motivate and work independently with a strong drive to achieve targets.
• Ability to learn fast and ask for help when needed.
• Strong communication skills.
• An Interest in the drinks industry is advantageous but not necessary.

Desirable:

• Drivers licence and access to a vehicle
• Photography, design or graphics skills, desirable but not necessary.
• Knowledge of Hubspot, hootsuite and other CRM / social media systems.

Remuneration: discussed at interview, salary plus on target bonus
