Product Specialist (Mobility & Rehabilitation Equipment)

As a Product Specialist, you will develop the sales of mobility and rehabilitation equipment via clinical professionals and also direct with private customers. Within the Cork-based clinic and with occupational therapists, visit/meet their clients who are conducting assessments of their needs and proposing equipment solutions which are usually funded through the HSE.
Proven track record in sales of similar product range and ideally experience of or understanding

Responsibilities
* Identify therapists and clinicians for potential new sales, gaining invitations to conduct client assessments with them - leading to equipment sales.
* Identify and act on all new business opportunities for private customer sales promptly, including leads from marketing initiatives.
* Visit and develop good working relationships with an existing client base
* Conduct client assessments and make suitable recommendations of rehabilitation equipment in accordance with their needs.
* Work with Marketing to attend and assist at events such as exhibitions / educational days.
* Provide training for clients as and where necessary.
* Attend training as and when deemed necessary to ensure knowledge and skills required to perform duties to a competent level.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven track record in sales of similar product range and ideally experience of or understanding Sales to HSE
* A technical or related background with the capacity to understand the route to market and the ability to work in a professional sales capacity.
* Demonstrate a personable manner and be able to work with people with disabilities
* Familiar with and/or able to work within the sales process of this specialist equipment market.
* Motivated by targets, objectives, and monetary rewards and Initiative to Develop New Opportunities
* Full Clean Driving Licence
* It should be noted that a certain extent of physical work is associated with this position, requiring bulky demonstration equipment to be used with client visits
