Business Development Manager
Our client a leading distributor of Fuels to the industry is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to lead, grow and shape their New Renewable Product Launch This is a new product launch that will require energy and commitment, to bring the brand to the next level. Seeking a strategic thinker, full of ambition and a desire to be successful, you’ll need to be very focused on reaching individual and company-wide sales goals & targets. You will drive high standards across Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Success teams.
* Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
* Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, and review existing and new business
* Help break into new expansion markets and provide commercial support in negotiating contracts.
* Be the main point of contact for our key client contracts and provide management support.
* Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand
* Take ownership of projects with the ability to find solutions and deliver results
* Work with all internal teams to foster a culture of continuous process improvement
* Drive the successful implementation and adoption of the sales and marketing automation platforms
* Monitor the quality of marketing and sales information and define data improvement requirements
* Proven track record of B2B sales, fast-paced environment with a good understanding of key commercial risks.
* Has a proven track record with sales executive experience in helping scale an organisation, meeting and exceeding targets.
* Ability to communicate, present, and influence all levels
* Experience of working in a low margin service driven entity
* Must be open to change and implementing effective change across our whole sales & customer focused divisions
* Results-driven and performance-focused
* Degree qualified in a Business and/or Sales/Marketing - Desirable
