Our client the leading distributor of Gardening, Homewares, and DIY is seeking to recruit a well-seasoned Area Sales Executive to manage the territory of N.Ireland, Monaghan & Cavan. Selling directly to DIY and Homestores, relevant industry experience is essential coupled with a proven track record in B2B sales.
Responsibilities: Area Sales Executive (Ulster)
* To work closely with our existing customers to meet and exceed targets
* Prepare and execute an annual business plan
* Reporting and Forecasting results
* To proactively work to identify new customers and new sales channels
* To proactively develop and sell promotional programmes
* Reporting and Forecasting results
* To schedule sales appointments in our showrooms on a daily basis
* To work closely with our Purchasing team on new product development and implementation within the market
* To achieve new listings in all accounts across multiple sales channels
* Ensure that credit terms are implemented in line with the business
* Support cash collection in line with the company plan
