Our client is a leading provider of Medical Technology globally. They are looking to hire a Key Account Manager for the Southern Region of the Republic of Ireland (Regional Health Areas B, C, D and E plus Roscommon, Mayo, and Galway).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the team to lead and deliver the sales strategy and achieve overall business success.

Responsibilities

Identifies and develops opportunities for iPDM to secure listing of blood glucose system and contracts for digital solutions to ensure the team meet or exceed revenue, margin, and business objectives, ultimately reaching our profit target. Implementation is the responsibility of the individual in contact with the customer.

Collaborative working with Payer Operations to ensure timely response to submission of documentation to tender/formulary adverts, price is in line with company pricing schedule and content is localised to local health economy (LHE) priorities to ensure the company remains the brand of choice.

Develops, identifies, and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders & influencers within the Regional Health Areas and Community Healthcare Networks to identify opportunities for revenue growth. Maintain a detailed knowledge of national/local policy objectives and drivers and apply this to identify opportunities for growing the business at a National and Regional level. Accountable for the quality and integrity of data inputted into the CRM and responsible for the use of SFDC as the master data management tool.

Drives and manages implementation contracts within LHE's by identifying large opportunity Community Healthcare Networks (CHNs) and/or Regional Health Areas utilising investment, implementation team and 3rd party (if applicable) ensuring return on investment in line with business expectations. Management and coordination of implementation and training of digital solutions.

Works flexibly when required across the region or nationally as part of a squad or agile project team to ensure opportunity is maximised whilst balancing prioritisation of territory goals. Utilise skills and experience to work flexibly as part of empowered, multi-skilled teams (where appropriate), to ensure squad-prioritised work is delivered in line with organisational principles and objective whilst demonstrating VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) roles, as you develop your personal skills and capabilities, to positively support colleagues. Owning your development to ensure you are continually growing skills and capabilities in line with your passion and the needs of the Organisation (present and future).

Acts as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and code of conduct.

Requirements

You have significant proven experience in Key Account Management role within the healthcare industry working with health service customers at all levels
You have In-depth understanding of trends in the payer marketplace and overall local health economy
Understanding of local pathways and funding streams
Proven results demonstrating ability to create market access for products or services leading to revenue generation
Competent in the use of digital technologies is essential
You have the ability to learn rapidly new clinical information and technologies essential
In depth understanding of the country health system and key health policies and evidence of leveraging this into sales
You have experience of, and understand solution selling
You have strong data analysis skills
You can prioritize in an ambiguous environment in accordance to a clear understanding of the business, target markets and trends
You are self-motivated, goal-driven, deeply inquisitive to challenge the status quo and adaptable
Strong business acumen with the ability to recognise trends and capitalise on opportunities
You have outstanding communication skills, listening and negotiation skills and proven commercial acumen
Full Irish driving license
