German Account Manager (Export) required for leading meat processors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate who will be responsible for the management and development of Export accounts, including the development of new business, in line with the overall objectives of the division.

What to expect in the job?

Customer Relationship Management:

* Ownership for all aspects of customer satisfaction with the company incorporating both internal and external relationship management
* Account Planning and Category Management: Develop and implement joint business plans with the assigned account(s) to maximise category returns and drive sales through the account
* New Business Development: The development of new profitable business through new or existing customers
* Sales Forecasting and Forward Sales Planning: Utilising tools such as promotional activity to continuously improve our forward sold percentage

Sales Pricing:

* Develop a pricing strategy with the customer to deliver on the company sales targets
* Compliance with company policies including the management of debtors

Requirements:

* Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
* Revenue and margin targets
* Forward sales planning targets
* Customer Service / JBP Targets
* Debtors compliance %

What do we need from you?

* Min 2 years of Account Management experience within the food industry preferably within a Food service environment
* Experience within the meat industry and/or food service sales is a distinct advantage
* Fluency (written and spoken) English essential
* Suitable qualifications advantageous: Business, marketing, food innovation/technology, culinary, agri-business or similar
* Proven track record in delivering sales targets and developing of new business
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of account profitability
* Excellent customer relationship management skills and proven negotiation skills
* Self-motivated, driven and ambitious
* A genuine passion for the food industry
* Project management skills
* Flexibility and adaptability
