The Role:

The Sales Productivity Specialist acts as the liaison between the Customer, Sales team, and Order Management team to ensure an efficient internal process and an excellent overall customer experience. This position plays an important role in improving sales productivity by ensuring a streamlined ordering process.

Essential Functions:

Create Zendesk ticket and gather required information for new customer set up in SAP
Complete supplier forms submitted by new customers
Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal as promotional code
Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce
Ensure clean and timely booking of customer purchase orders, including:
Proactively audit open quotations for pre-booking accuracy
Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist
Reconcile customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and work with Sales to resolve any discrepancies
Attach customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and submit back to Order Management Specialist
Create quotes in the following exception-based circumstances:
In response to RFQs for known BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
In response to received purchase orders that are not associated with an existing quote for BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
To facilitate fast-turn opportunities requiring expedited / UPS RED / next day shipment
Act as liaison between Order Management, Sales, and customers regarding order status when in-country assistance is required
Monitor status of sales loaners to customers and coordinate with Sales on the return of past due units
Assist in providing user experience support in Salesforce

Salesforce CRM and CPQ a plus

Minimum education and work experience required:

Bachelor's Degree
2+ years professional experience supporting Sales organization
Previous experience in Inside Sales a plus
