PayPal are hiring a German Business Development Rep to join our team in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Secure new outbound merchant opportunities via outbound calls through the alignment of their business needs to PayPal’s payment solutions
- Quickly and accurately set calendar appointments for Enterprise Sales & Account Executives
- Ability to qualify merchant requirements and segment based on criteria provided by the business
- Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to all clients throughout the entire discovery and sales cycle
- Perform initial needs assessment of prospect while identifying existing pain points to determine how PayPal’s platform could address those needs.
- Aptitude to understand and articulate key business drivers and overcome merchant objections by effectively communication the PayPal value propositions
- Maintain consistent high call quality as pre-determined by leadership and sales coaches
- Effectively communicate a high level of technical, e-commerce, and business acumen within and between teams
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of Sales, marketing or business development experience
- Competitive nature with a strong passion to exceed personal and professional goals
- Consistently meet or exceed pre-assigned KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and activity targets
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively, both on a team and individually, in a high energy, ever-changing, dynamic sales environment.
- Must be quality and detailed oriented with strong working knowledge of the internet, e-commerce, and suite of Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication skills to enable positive interaction with all levels/functions within the organization
- Proven experience adapting and thriving in a constantly changing environment
- Fluency in German is a requirement. Other languages are beneficial.
- Business Level English is required.
