Area Sales Manager - ROI
Who are the Company?
A well-established business who were over the standard full year target for 2020, which was up on 2019 and again up in 2021. This area is 35-40% up in 2021 on 2019 figures.
They have an enviable track record of staff retention and the role is open due to partly a retirement and also expansion (this will make sense when I explain!).
Are you right for the role?
You, your attitude, your drive and personality are the most important factors here. Getting the right person is absolute key, as product can be taught.
To that end there are 2 profiles of candidate the client will consider:
1 - An experienced field sales person in the Construction / Interiors / KBBT sector with B2B sales.
2 - Someone wanting to progress their career and get into B2B field sales, ideally coming from an Internal Sales or Sales Designer type role - from the KBBT / Interiors sector.
To clarify, the ideal candidate would have all the personal attributes, plus experience of selling one of - Appliances, Kitchens, Bedrooms, Furniture Components or related - to KBBT retailers or merchants.
The position is immediately available, depending on finding the right person to employ.
Is the package suitable?
For an experienced field sales person they will offer a Basic salary of €40-50,000, with realistic OTE of +€15-30,000 on top.
For someone taking the step up into this role that would require training they will offer a Basic salary to start of up to €35,000, with the same OTE potential of an extra +€15-30,000 on top, but more likely to be the lower end of the bracket if you're learning the ropes.
