Senior Field Sales Executive
DCK, are a long established litho and digital printing, data services and mailing business based in Ballymount, Dublin 12. For 42 years DCK have been supplying business forms, ballot papers, insurance renewals, transactional and direct mail services into the public, private and fundraising sectors in Ireland and abroad.
With our new venture, Colab (https://wearecolab.work/ we have combined the data and digital printing expertise with state-of-the-art digital carton manufacturing equipment, to offer something brand new and unique to the Irish Packaging Market.
Due to our successful launch we are now expanding our team and want to recruit highly motivated, ambitious and experienced Senior Field Sales Executives who will relish the challenges and opportunities associated with developing a new market.
Your role will be to win new customers in your assigned territories and generate sustainable financial growth through maximising sales and developing strong partnerships with clients. You will also support and further develop our customer base.
The main accountabilities will be to:
Promote and sell the full range of DCK services and products into a range of business channels.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales revenue and margin targets and KPI’s
Research and develop business opportunities to expand customer base
Generate maximum pull through with existing and new customers
Gather market intelligence and work with the leadership team to develop sales strategies and actionable plans
Participate in industry events to help drive positive market awareness.
Manage all aspects of the sales process including contracts and negotiations
Provide accurate and timely information and reports to management.
Liaise with production / customer service teams to support on-time delivery of projects.
Work closely with management to address customer complaints or issues
We want to hear from experienced sales professionals who are results-driven, energetic and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and have a track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets. You should also have:
A minimum of 3 years track record of success in business to business sales, ideally selling print, packaging or cartons.
Experience, knowledge and relationships in any of the following sectors - food, medical devices, pharma, beauty and marketing agencies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to understand the technical aspects of packaging specifications.
Good computing skills, including some experience of using Excel and databases.
Ability to negotiate, make sound commercial decisions, handle objections and close sales.
Competitive compensation package aligned with experience. Starting salary €35,000
