Cyber Security Product Sales Specialist
€30k base + €5k comms
Job Purpose Summary
We are looking for an individual with a passion for sales and technology to actively introduce and promote our leading software brands products to new and existing UK customers.You will be responsible for developing long term relationships with the vendor(s) sales team and customers whilst proactively calling out to ensure the achievement of sales target on a monthly and quarterly basis.
You will liaise between the vendor(s) and our sales teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery against set strategy and objectives.
You will be focused on achieving KPI's set in line with the vendor and our business strategies and be committed to continuous professional development and to learn the key features of the technology.
Key Role Responsibilities
Achieve Sales targets set each month / quarter.
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the sales team within the vendor(s).
Work closely with our UK&I Barracuda team for alignment of goals and objectives.
Maintain an agreed level of proactive telephone contact daily with customers and the vendor.
To pro-actively seek new business (White Space) by prospecting our existing customers and new customers to the business.
Meet and exceed agreed performance objectives & KPI's.
Ensure that CRM is up to date for all communications in relation to Barracuda opportunities.
Ensure accurate and timely management of all quotations and sales opportunities, to build a pipeline.
Ensuring that all customers are provided with accurate, proposals, collateral and other information as required.
Proactively manage the renewals pipeline for the territory working with the both our and vendor renewals teams.
Ensure you have an up to date Quarterly Business Plan, which is manageable, and measurable by company standards. This will include regular individual reviews with your manager or team leader and the setting of SMART objectives.
Communicate and articulate our value proposition and strategy to prospects and customers to differentiate us from our competitors. Maintain high levels of customer service ensuring that we remains a valued and key supplier.
Always act as an ambassador and representative of us to ensure a professional image for the Company. Actively contribute and act as a role model to the our values.
Face to face engagement, when required, with both the vendor and with the customers.
Essential Skills & Attributes
A desire or experience in a proactive sales role as an entry into Product Management.
Has a high level of interpersonal and effective communication skills to build effective and successful customer relationships.
Mature, responsible and professional attitude to work.
Has commercial and business awareness with a good level of negotiation and influencing skills.
Can demonstrate their ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations. Conscientious and committed, combined with flexibility in attitude and approach.
Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively.
Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate eloquently in both written and verbal formats, both face-to-face and remotely.
Educated to Leaving Certificate or to A level standard or equivalent
Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
