Sales Manager – Cork – Nationwide BDM Team
Our client is an outsourced procurement company for the Hospitality & Healthcare sectors.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sales, key account management and sales management experience in either the hospitality or healthcare sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility in achieving revenue, profitability and volume sales targets.
• Coach train and develop the BD team.
• Devise & implement sales management processes to drive success of individuals & the business
• Work with existing customers to strengthen relationships, generate new business opportunities.
• Manage efficient journey planning & scheduling of meetings among the BD Team
• Accelerate sales cycles, demonstrate best sales practice and close down sales through field trips.
• Consistently ensure high standards in making presentations with regular field trips with BD team.
• Develop new business opportunities to fuel continued growth.
• Optimize ongoing marketing, publicity and PR events to increase base sales.
• Problem solve all field issues.
• Report to the General Manager on all projects on a weekly basis.
• To develop account plans and development strategies within the major accounts area.
• Preparation of the annual budget and sales forecasts for Southern Ireland.
• Provide sales reports and forecasting information using the CRM system.
• Actively contribute and participate on the company’s executive and management team.
Qualifications & Experience Required
• Strong experience is dealing with senior executives in Hospitality and or Healthcare
• Ability to manage procurement sales engagements through the full sales cycle supported by a proven track record in sales management in the Hospitality sector.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to implement the required structure to professionally manage the sales process from start to finish.
• At least 7 year's sales management experience in B2B selling.
• Demonstrable track record in meeting and beating sales targets and KPIs.
• Experience in key account management and relationship management.
• Ability to work as part of a strong team in a high performance environment.
• Degree or equivalent experience.
Remuneration:
• The base salary is €60k – €70k base DOE plus commission & bonus plan. A car allowance is also provided.
