Sales Business Analyst – Kildare – to €55k

Manor Farm Business analyst, commercial division

Manor farm is Ireland’s biggest supplier of fresh chicken to the FMCG industry. Supplying all leading multiples across Ireland. Due to continued growth in this dynamic industry a new role has been developed to support and help drive the commercial function in Manor Farm.

Role :

To assist the commercial team make better business decisions by providing meaningful insights and recommend alternative courses of action based on timely data analysis. Prepare and present the key account managers with commercial analysis that will help them understand the dynamics within their major customers business, the impact of promotional participation on sales and margin and recommend alternative courses of action if required. Analyse the supply curve and identify and recommend realignment opportunities to increase overall profitability. Reporting to Head of Sales & Marketing weekly on the sales to each customer by product size and compare that to supply of birds by size to show where excessive weight is given away and where surpluses (more supply than demand) are arising.

Where:

Working with the commercial team and reporting (hard line) to the head of Sales and Marketing and dotted line to the FD. Based in the Bracetown office in Clonee but occasionally may travel to other locations within the company in Ireland.

Key responsibilities:

·         Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in commercial and finance departments and provide meaningful commercial analysis.

·         Deliver analysis in a timely manner and present in a logical format that can be easily interpreted by the commercial team.

·         Provide customer presentation material to illustrate the dynamics and opportunities by account.

·         Analyse promotion performance to understand participation and it’s relative merits compared with alternative activity through a sales, volume and margin lens.

·         Analyse and rank customer performance identifying net price and cost to serve.

Salary

·         €35,000 to €55,000 based on experience.
