Key Account Manager
The jobholder will be responsible for retaining and developing the company’s existing National Accounts, which total approximately 65 customers representing over €4m per annum turnover. The customers are mostly provided with Washroom & Mat services. In addition he / she will be required to identify opportunities to sell additional services to these customers and identify new customers throughout Ireland.
A key requirement of the job holder will be to build strong commercial relationships with all decision makers and influencers within the customer base.
There is an onus to target specific key accounts. It is imperative that the candidate is familiar with making formal presentations; consultative selling techniques, and detailed tender submissions. The KAM must make a strong professional impression at Senior Management level to ensure inclusion on all supplier and tender listings. They must posses a strong commercial acumen that will allow them to spot commercial opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
Establish relationships at senior levels within an identified group of customers to maximise business retention and revenue growth.
Increase awareness of the company through pro active account management.
Be a champion of exemplary customer service at all levels of the organisation to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Develop plans to maximise the sale of additional products services within National Accounts.
Identify at the earliest opportunity any competitive threats that may arise and respond proactively to retain the threatened business
Contribute to identifying appropriate new products and services.
Be fully aware of competitor activity within our customers and potential customers.
Report regularly on all activity within the sector.
A base salary will range between E40k – E50k depending on the candidate’s experience plus an additional E20k in commission earnings – uncapped. A company car is provided, laptop, phone etc.
