INSIDE ACCOUNT MANAGER – CONSUMER ELECTRONICS
The Company:
Our client is a €1billion Irish success story in the consumer electronics sector. Their reach spans throughout Europe, Americas and Asia. Due to continued dramatic growth they require an Account Manager based in Dublin.
Description:
To assist and support the Sales Director in managing, developing and growing the client’s own range of technology consumer lifestyle product ranges. This role provides the highest possible customer service, support and query resolution. The Vendor Manager is the first Point of Contact for all queries and is responsible for the efficient day to day running of the allocated reseller base.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate, with exposure to logistics, distribution, FMCG or consumer electronics.
Job Specification:
• Develop, maintain and build effective business relationships with the UK & Ireland Reseller base by providing a personalised and proactive service, as well as regular and ongoing contact.
• Ensure smooth set up of new Vendors on the system.
• Maintain and update current vendor product information.
• Proactively work with internal departments to successfully meet vendors’ demands.
• Liaise with IT and Purchasing to ensure new products are set up on the system.
• Schedule and attend vendor conference calls.
• Liaise with Purchasing, Warehousing, Shipping and Logistics Department to ensure orders are processed and sufficient stock levels are maintained to meet forecasts.
• Resolve product returns and general inventory queries.
• Participate in projects when required.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Personal Specification:
• Competency with MS Office Word, Excel (Pivot Tables)
• Educated to degree standard preferably in Business.
• Experience in a customer support environment.
• Problem solving capability
• Excellent people skills and a team player
• Enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a fast moving, ever changing environment.
• Ability to plan, manage and meet deadlines.
Remuneration:
The base salary range is €25k – €30k DOE plus commission plan (10k). Promotion prospects are very high in this company with plans to continue double digit growth over the coming years.
