Barry Napier and Fergus Sweeney started out in 2000 from Fergus’s front room, using the garage as a store room. They had contacts in both the network and distributor side of the business and began by selling SIM-free handsets and accessories.

Barry and Fergus established Celtic Telecom Consultants as a mobile phone and accessories company in 2000 and in 2003 CTC bought BPI Telecom.

Since formation they have continued to grow year on year and have successfully tendered and won large contracts such as O2 and recently the total distribution and reverse logistics partner for Carphone Warehouse.
