Sales & Marketing Director
Our client is a leading Facility Services organisation that is hiring a Sales & Marketing Director. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Director of Sales & Marketing directs marketing operations, sales operations and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute and evaluate long term and short term integrated marketing and sales campaigns for our client’s various revenue streams.
Source and manage relationships with and evaluate the effectiveness of outsourced providers of marketing services.
Manage the sales and marketing team to achieve delivery of revenue performance across the full range of services.
Work with the sales team to introduce a corporate solution selling model.
Develop, implement and manage a Key Account Management multi-disciplinary strategy around key customers.
Work closely with the revenue generating teams to develop, negotiate and win long term profitable and sustainable business.
Identify and develop new sources of revenue through strategic partnering and developing new markets.
Implement new practices in marketing communications to grow revenues and to assist the other departments in the delivery of a strong return on investment.
Improve systems and processes to maximise business intelligence.
Advice and develop strategies on media and public relations, advertising, external communications as well as market and customer research.
Ongoing management and development of web site that serves customer, staff and partner needs.
Experience & Qualification Requirements
Proven ability and experience managing and leading high performance sales and marketing teams.
Proven ability to work as part of a senior management team to develop and implement commercial strategy in line with the overall strategic goals of the client.
Leadership experience in marketing and sales management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
The ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategy and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives as determined by the sales & marketing plan.
Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and skills to build new channels to market either directly or through strategic partnerships.
A deep understanding of the strategic marketing and selling process.
Experience in managing budgets effectively, financial reporting, setting up effective metrics and business processes.
Knowledge and experience of the Facilities Services environment would be beneficial.
International experience would be a distinct advantage.
