We're looking for a motivated, experienced and passionate Sales Manager to manage a large and growing network of Business Development Managers nationwide. Based in Dublin you will be directly responsible for recruiting, coaching, managing and developing the GrabOne sales force. This is an exciting role for a seasoned, self-motivated, ambitious and passionate sales manager with the opportunity to have a major impact in a new and growing company within the fastest growing new business models on the internet.
Primary Purpose:
The primary objective of the Sales Manager is to manage, motivate, lead and champion a team of nationwide Sales Reps. This is a pure sales management role with no individual targets, the incumbent will be measured on the success of the sales team and therefore most focus all of their attention on developing a world class sales force.
This role will be based in the Dublin with an extensive amount of nationwide travel, working with the team of field sales representatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build, encourage and motivate a nationwide team of field sales representatives through the provision of ongoing real time coaching and other support systems
• Nurture individual development and drive accountability within the sales team
• Build and maintain the support of colleagues and sales team members
• Set up and maintain collaborative and consultative working arrangements – both within the sales team and with all other departments
• Act as a champion for the GrabOne sales team, assisting reps on client meetings, representing the sales team at management level, channelling all teams suggestions for improvement to the appropriate avenue.
• Manage team and individual performance closely, acknowledging and recognising high performance levels while actively managing poor performance.
• Plan and execute “go to market” strategies and sales / product campaigns
• Liaise with Operations and Marketing to schedule deal pipelines
• Define, communicate and implement the sales strategy ensuring that all pertinent processes are in place to support effective execution of the strategy
• Work closely with senior management to define processes that ensure that the flow of information supports the achievement of the overall company goals, in the most effective and efficient manner
• As part of the senior management team, define and shape a high performance culture
Technical Competencies:
• People management experience is vital – proven skills in driven a high performing field sales team are required
• Outside / Direct Sales Experience is a must – successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in field sales environment
• Experience in using a CRM system – preferably Salesforce
• Demonstrated coaching skills
• Expert knowledge of the sales cycle and ability to influence decision making at all levels
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Third level education preferred – Business / Communications / Psychology
• Excellent knowledge of social media and the online environment
• Knowledge of the vertical experience /daily deal experience is advantageous
